Our front door has an etched design on the glass. We are looking through a portion of it here with the screen door behind it.
This was one of those pictures that I took on impulse just to see what it would look like. Ever do that?
Shenandoah! A beautiful valley and a winding river -- how fortunate we are to live here! And since I love photography, I'm taking plenty of pictures and sharing them here. You'll find other subjects too. If you like historic sites or gardens or animals, you'll find them on this blog. Please visit often and feel free to comment.

I think you have a door much like mine. I've never thought of taking a photo of it. I will now. :)
I thought it was a window from a door.... only because I seen the screen.
Very pretty, reminds me right now of the frost pattern on my windows.
Really neat affect!
Cool photo! I like it. Have a good weekend!
You came up with a very beautiful image. Very nice.
Interesting! Are there fifty shades of gray there? (Haven't read the book & don't know anything about it.)
Hello Linda, stopped in from Shenandoah Gateway Farm blog. We live in a100+ year old home and also have a front door with an etched window. Ours is an elk, we think, which is really unusual since we currently live on the VA eastern shore where shorebirds are more common.
