The Potomac at Falling Waters

There's a campground on the shores of the Potomac at Falling Waters, West Virginia, where you have this view. We reached it by parking at a Civil War Trails Marker and walking along a short but narrow path under a railroad bridge.

  1. Nice location! Bet it's even nicer when it's all greened up!

  2. Very Beautiful!! I am sure you got a picture of the RR Bridge and are going to so it to us sometime soon... at least I hope.

  3. So peaceful looking! I love your first shot of the tree bending toward the river.

  4. Pretty! I like the second one the best with all that blue.

  5. @Linda,
I love the photos, I am sure the real scenery would be very great.

The View from Squirrel Ridge features thousands of views of the Shenandoah Valley and surrounding area. I post frequently so please visit often.
