I composed this at an angle to emphasize the form of the stairway. It's in the Virginia House, Orkney Spring's large historic hotel. See a more conventional view in a previous post. The hotel is owned and maintained by Shrine Mont and can be visited during Spring, Summer or Fall. They close during the winter.
