Early morning history class

A week ago at 7 AM, our class started the day with a lecture in front of our motel in Elkins. This isn't our earliest starting time ever; last year we met at Hawk's Nest parking lot at 6:30 AM!

Both of these field trips followed the struggle for West Virginia in 1861 as detailed in Dr. Poland's book The Glories of War.
